I bought two pairs of these boots in grey and black. The grey pair was fine but the black pair was defective. The right side of the black boot refused to stay up and just dropped all the way down to my ankles after I walked in it for a while. The left side stayed up fine. It appears that the material in the right boot was less sturdy and I am not sure how that could have happened – bad quality control perhaps. So you take a risk in buying these boots. It’s hit or miss. If you get a good pair that stays up on both sides even with the slouch, they’re fantastic boots – very comfortable and classy looking but if you get a defective pair you’ve wasted your money because you can’t really wear them with one side up and one side down at your ankles!

I’m happy with these boots, have no complaints. They’re comfortable and relatively warm (considering they’re not heavily insulated). I have the gray pair and they’ve stayed very clean, even through a few small water splashes. The boots do slouch more than the pictures show, at least on me. I’m about 5′4 and if f I pull them all the way up, they go to about the top of my calf, but tend to slip down an inch or two if I don’t adjust them throughout the day.

These are nice-looking comfortable slouchy boots. They run a bit big, so if you are between sizes, go for the smaller size unless you plan on wearing socks. Without socks, I inserted Dr. Scholl’s Double Air-Pillo Insoles and they fit fine.

I just ordered these boots and love, love, love them. They fit a little bit big so I ordered a 1/2 size smaller. They are super cute, the leather is good quality and they look great with dresses and leggings. I have skinny legs and the calf fits a little big but not as big as some others that I’ve tried. All and all I’m super happy with this purchase.
