    My Frye women’s Veronica slouch
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My Frye women’s Veronica Slouch boots arrived in 2 days. I got the ‘Cognac” color and think they are beautiful. I ordered a half size larger (9) than I usually wear and opened the buckles as other reviewers recommended. I wore light socks and stood up to put the boots on and they went on just fine, and came off easily too. One foot was a little tighter in the toe box area, but they felt good from the start. I wore them in the house on carpet for a few hours, taking them on and off several times, then wore them to work. They felt broken in on Day One. I have fat calves (just slightly under 15 inches), and was concerned about fit, but these are roomy, not pinched or tight. I can tuck my PJ’s in and eventually I will be able to tuck in jeans. I don’t wear skirts very often, but these would be cute with skirts long or short. The leather is soft and is already starting to slouch, but not overly much. The tight toe box on my left foot is already feeling slightly looser. As other’s have mentioned, the partial insole is not glued down properly and started to peel back the first time I took the boots off. I will need to wear them a few more times to loosen them up to the point where I can add a squishy full sized insole. These are made in Mexico, not USA but Frye is still a well made boot and I give these a full 5 star rating. Save up and treat yourself to style and comfort that will not go out of fashion anytime soon.

    Love
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love these boots. They look good with almost everything. They’re a lot lighter than I expected which is good for long days. The comfort level is great; I feel like they’re already broken in. I am a size five and I ordered a size 5.5 which is half a size up but they feel true to size. This is good but I expected them to feel somewhat looser so that I can wear thick sock with them in the winter. Also, getting them on is a slight hassle because they are a tight fit for your legs and it takes a while to tuck in (if you’re wearing jeans). Overall, I love them and I think they’re a great product.

    Not good for high arches!
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
While the quality of the leather was beautiful, I couldn’t get them on or off without a struggle. I’m sure with wear it would have gotten easier but for $300 I want to LOVE them. I have slightly high arches and it isn’t a problem with most boots but these I had to return – not to mention then paying shipping and handling to get the boots and then to return them. Over $30 just to try on the boots!
